The Royal Family currently consists, apart from the Dukes of Parma and their three children, of the other three children of Prince Charles-Hugues (1930-2010) and Princess Irene (1939-), who is currently the Duchess Mother. Duke Carlos's uncles are Princess Marie-Françoise (1928), Princess Maria Teresa (1933-2020), Princess Maria de las Nieves (1937), Princess Cecilia (1935-2021) and Prince Sixtus (1940).
His younger sister is Princess Margarita de Bourbon-Parma, Countess of Colorno, her godmother is Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. She is the mother of Julia (2008) and Paola (2011). She is a jewelry designer.
His younger brother is Prince Jaime de Bourbon-Parma, Count of Bardi and Duke of San Jaime, whose godfather was Prince regent Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld. He is married to Princess Viktória (née Cservenyak), Countess of Montizón. Their children are Princess Zita (2013) and Princess Gloria (2014). Prince Jaime served as Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Holy See. He then spent more than four years as the Netherland’s Climate Envoy. Currently he is serving as Director for the Environment at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris.
The youngest sister is Princess Maria Carolina, Marquise of Sala and Duchess of Gernika, whose godfather was Prince Claus of the Netherlands. She is married to Albert Brenninkmeijer. Their children are Alaïa-Maria (2014) and Xavier (2015). They have their own family office, which includes philanthropic foundations.
